Episode 3 arrival and workstation regeneration prompts

These prompts define the approved physical references for Morrowvale's Toronto campus. Pair them with the cast identity in character-bible.html and, whenever a monitor is visible, the matching 1280×720 reference in monitor-screen-bible.html.

Reference precedence is mandatory: the production-design bible wins, then the location, character and monitor sheets, then the manifest, and only then this shot prompt. Stop and resolve a contradiction before generating. Never infer a new set from a later asset merely because that asset is labelled canonical.

Generated monitor text is disposable. Preserve only the screen era, brightness, window density and broad block layout; composite legible story content in HTML.

Street-level lobby arrival

Approved output: ep3-street-lobby-arrival-v1.png

Grounded live-action cinematic still, 16:9. Street-level arrival lobby of a credible Toronto technology research campus in 2026. Warm pale limestone, black steel mullions, restrained timber reception desk, real city street visible through clear glass, ordinary security gates and lift signage without readable branding. Samantha Chen, age 17, dark hair, smart but inexpensive placement outfit, practical backpack and slightly awkward temporary lanyard, enters beside a casually dressed research lead under 27. Natural morning daylight, warm public threshold, contemporary architecture, documentary realism. No white coats, suits, science-fiction consoles, holograms, dark data centre, logos or legible generated text. Establish a clear route from street to reception to internal lifts and leave clean negative space for a location strap.

Evaluation-floor arrival

Approved output: ep3-arrival-v1.png

Grounded live-action cinematic still, 16:9, same Samantha and research lead as the street lobby reference, now arriving at the Morrowvale evaluation floor. Bright perimeter windowed evaluation zone: seamless off-white wall planes, pale grey resin floor, frosted full-height partitions, diffuse daylight, off-white integrated work surfaces and ordinary young technical staff in casual modern developer clothing. Every workstation uses standard flat computer monitors, a full-size keyboard and a mouse. Remove any black desk, black or charcoal-framed glass, dark industrial-lab treatment, robotics controller, laboratory instrument, joystick, transparent display, oversized touchscreen or futuristic input device. Clinical, minimal and expensive but recognisably an office. Keep generated screen detail abstract and unreadable. No suits, white coats, cyberpunk lighting or branded text.

The discarded first take introduced robotics-style input hardware. It is not a continuity reference and must not be reused.

Standard Playground workstation master

Approved output: ep3-sam-headphones-desk-v1.png

Grounded live-action cinematic still, 16:9, inside the exact same evaluation floor as the approved arrival. Canonical developer desk geography: an off-white integrated work surface, Samantha Chen, 17, seated naturally at an ordinary flat monitor; the same young research lead stands beside her. A complete full-size keyboard and normal mouse are clearly visible, with restrained task light and Samantha's headphones resting near the workstation. Preserve off-white wall planes, pale resin floor, frosted partitions and the perimeter windows. Medium three-quarter angle suitable for deriving a reverse, over-shoulder, keyboard insert and empty-desk plate. Screen content must remain abstract and unreadable for later HTML compositing. No black desk, black glass, control knob, audio console, robotics controls, holograms, curved command consoles, glowing pods, corporate suits, white coats or science-fiction set dressing.

Shot-packet checklist

Every generation request must record these five fields before a tool is called:

  1. World authority: the exact production-design-bible section.
  2. Location master: one approved physical plate from the manifest.
  3. Identity references: each visible recurring character.
  4. Screen reference: the research monitor sheet when a monitor is visible.
  5. Continuity contract: copied required and forbidden traits from the manifest, plus the intended camera angle and single physical action.

The source still must be reviewed at full frame before it can become a paid motion-generation input.

Approved derivatives from this process:

  • ep3-sam-headphones-arrival-canonical-v2.png — alternate white-lab arrival angle with location-strap space.
  • ep3-customisation-keyboard-close-v2.png — exactly one conventional full-size keyboard, one mouse and no control hardware.
  • ep3-a17-initialisation-reverse-v2.png — reverse workstation coverage with clear space for the authored A-17 identity card.

Motion derivatives

For silent image-to-video takes, preserve faces, clothing, furniture, monitor count and keyboard geometry. Use one modest action per take: walk from security gate to lift; turn into the evaluation aisle; sit and place hands near the keyboard; glance from monitor to research lead; rack focus from keyboard to screen. Camera motion is a restrained dolly, lateral track or slow push. Do not request dialogue or lip sync. Generate longer than the final edit, then select a stable section against the existing voice waveform.
